"Violence doesn’t just happen. It escalates. The best protection begins long before a threat turns into an attack."

Lioness Tactics

Lioness Tactics didn’t start as a brand idea. It started as a pattern I saw in every real-world situation. Predators, human or animal, rely on behavior. The lioness is the perfect model for human survival. She studies patterns. Tracks intent. Moves with purpose. Conserves energy until action is required. She protects what is hers by understanding what she is walking into.

Humans are wired the same way. We just stopped paying attention to that system because modern life teaches convenience rather than awareness. Our biology still prepares us for predators, while our routines pretend they no longer exist.

That is the foundation of Lioness Tactics. Not the animal itself but the intelligence behind it. Awareness, timing, discipline, and the ability to stay ready without living in fear.

Our Core Values

  • The reality of violence isn’t pretty, predictable, or fair. We don’t pretend it is. Training starts with telling the truth about how people behave under stress, and what it actually takes to survive it.

  • Skills fade when discipline slips. Showing up, paying attention, and staying teachable matter more than any technique. Your training should look like your worst day, not your best one, because that’s the day that demands everything.

  • Do the right thing even when no one is watching. How you carry yourself before, during, and after a situation defines your character more than any skillset.

  • You are your own first responder. Your safety starts with you. Responsibility is the commitment to train, the awareness to read a situation early, and the clarity to navigate the aftermath with confidence.

Meet the Founder

Renee Stringer is a self-defense instructor and security professional with more than twenty years of teaching experience and over a decade in executive and dignitary protection, covert operations, and corporate security. She holds a black belt in Krav Maga and began her career on the mats, teaching civilians how to defend themselves under pressure and understand how the body reacts in real conflict.

Her later work in protection took those skills into real-world environments where behavior is the deciding factor. In that world, she learned to read intent, recognize patterns, manage risk, and make decisions in situations where misreading behavior could compromise safety, trust, or the entire operation.

That combination became her signature approach. Renee integrates behavioral threat recognition with practical defensive skill building. Over the years she has trained civilians, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and security teams in defensive tactics, firearms, de-escalation, and situational awareness.

She went on to lead security operations and build protective programs that supported executives and large-scale environments, strengthening her ability to translate human behavior into proactive safety.

Her instruction centers on biological intelligence, the way the human body recognizes danger, processes information, and acts under stress. She teaches people to understand behavior before it turns into conflict and to move with clarity if it does.

Collaboration Inspires Growth.

I partner with organizations, trainers, and brands that share my mission: empowering others through awareness, training, and behavioral insight.
